Austria e zone limitrofe.Borghi specchiati, cresciuti a ridosso del ponte che per decenni ha separato l’Italia dall’Austria-Ungheria. Sul ponte il confine. Ora rigenerato attraverso lo sguardo alle montagne filtrato dai fiori. Un tempo divideva, ora il ponte unisce con due piazze sulle teste:
le spallette occasione su cui cresce l’edificio, la memoria, lo sguardo disteso nella contemporaneità con le fotografie dei monti prese dal battaglione dirigibilisti prima della catastrofe. -

Pontebba-Pontafel, 2007-2008Research on the historical, environmental and landscape background of the former border territory between Italy and Austria and the surrounding areas.
Pristine villages near the bridge, which for decades seperated Italy from Austria-Hungary. The borderline on the bridge. Newly restored through its gaze over the mountains filtered by flowers. Once it divided, now it unites, with its two squares at each end: its parapets on which the building sorges. Remembrance. Its calm gaze into the contemporary with photographs of the the mountains taken by an airship before the catastrophe.
